Life Then and Now: Technology

Life in the 1980s was very different from life today. People didn't have the internet or smartphones. Technology was slower and bigger. Today, we use technology every day. It is fast, small, and very helpful.

Technology helps us to talk to people, watch movies, listen to music, take photos, and more. Here are two examples of how life has changed from the 1980s to now:

📞 1. Communication – Talking to People

• Before (1980s): People used landline phones at home. You could only call people. You could not send messages or take the phone with you.

• Now: We use smartphones. We can call, send messages, take photos, video call, and use social media like WhatsApp, Instagram, Youtube.

📺 2. Watching TV and Movies

• Before: People watched TV on big TVs with antennas. To watch a movie, they used VHS tapes in a video player.

• Now: We have flat smart TVs. We watch movies and series on Netflix, YouTube, or Disney+. No need for tapes.

Today, life is more connected and easy because of technology. But in the past, people also enjoyed life in a different way.
